Musical settings across 350 years include catches and broadsheets, trios and quartets by Thomas Campion, Henry Purcell, George Frederick Handel, John Hilton, Matthew Locke, Vaughan Richardson, John Stainer, and others.
Readings and poems inspired by carvings include ‘A Linden Antiphon’ and other commissioned poems by Paul Munden and Oliver Comins, alongside the words of Alexander Pope, William Shakespeare, James Shirley, John Donne, and John Evelyn.
